Understanding ME: A Guide For Young People

The NI MEA is very pleased to announce that it has just produced a new Publication: “Understanding ME: A Guide For Young People”. This is a comprehensive and easy-to-read booklet that deals with the symptoms, current information on all aspects of having this illness as a young person, and also includes articles from young folk with ME.

It is hoped that this Guide will try to answer some of the questions about being ill, and tries to explain how it impacts on daily life, attending school or college, and the social implications in relation to friendships.

The Association is very grateful indeed to the Ulster Bank Staff Charity Fund for their generous donation, which has made this new Booklet possible.
